A programme for your client

Goal and duration, check-ins and contact moments, nutrition and training set up in one go, and planning ahead what changes each week, alongside your client’s calendar and cycle.

A programme puts your plan with your client into one overview: what you’re working towards, what’s been agreed, and what changes when. You’ll find it in the record under Plan → Path.

Creating a programme. In four steps:

  1. Goal. Losing weight, gaining weight, getting stronger or getting fitter. For losing and gaining weight you enter the current weight and the goal, and a rate per week. The duration is calculated: 12 kg at 0.5 kg per week is 24 weeks. You also choose the measurement moments (for example weight daily, photo and circumferences every other week), the contact moments (a conversation every other week on Monday at 19:00) and the training days: fixed days, or a number per week that your client chooses.
  2. Nutrition. The nutrition goal from the start, with a split or your own grams. For the plan, choose Existing plan, Create a new one now or Later. With Create a new one now the plan builder opens over the wizard, with the nutrition goal already filled in; after saving, the new plan is selected.
  3. Training. One or more training plans. If you choose more than one, they alternate over the training days (A, B, A, B). Here too you can choose Create a new one now or Later.
  4. Overview. What you’ve chosen, and per week what your client already has in their calendar, and the cycle if your client shares it. Setting up schedules the workouts and the plan over the whole duration and sets the nutrition goal from the start date.

If you chose Later, you put the plan on the timeline with Plan a change → Different meal plan or Different training plan.

Changing arrangements. How often your client measures and when you’re in contact, you adjust with Change arrangements: for example the conversation from every other week to weekly. It applies from now; what’s already scheduled stays.

The timeline. Below the goal are all the weeks. For each week you plan ahead what changes:

  • Adjust nutrition: for example in six weeks +200 kcal, of which +20 g protein, +12 g carbohydrates and +8 g fat. Choose From this day or Only until a date: the goal then returns to what it was afterwards automatically.
  • Different meal plan: a different plan from a certain day.
  • Different training plan: different plans from a certain day, for example with new exercises.
  • Deload week: for one week, lighter copies of the plans (60 % of the sets, RPE two lower). After that the normal plan continues.
  • Note on a day and Daily goal: 20,000 steps today, you’re eating out, or a tip for a party. Choose One day or A period, per day: turn on the weekdays that take part, untick individual days, and give a day its own goal. It goes into your client’s calendar and appears at the top of the app that day.

What your client has already planned. Below each week are the notes and appointments your client put in the calendar themselves, such as 18 October eating out. With Plan around this you schedule a change for that day, for example a bit more room in the nutrition goal, just for that day.

The cycle. If your client shares their cycle with you, the menstrual periods are shown: logged, or expected based on the last cycles. That way you see that their period falls in week 5, and you plan a bit more food in week 4 or a deload week in week 5. You only see the dates, no notes. Your client turns this on or off themselves in the app, under Profile → Cycle; without that choice you see nothing.

Removing. You remove a change that’s still to come with the bin icon. Whatever was scheduled with it disappears too: the nutrition goal and the reset after it, the deload workouts or the calendar item.

What your client sees. In the app, on the Path tab, is the programme: the goal, which week your client is in, the arrangements and what’s coming. That way a new nutrition goal in six weeks isn’t a surprise.

Stopping. With Stop the timeline disappears. What’s already scheduled stays. After that you can create a new programme. Each client has one programme running at a time.

Adding a path. A programme and a path can exist side by side. The path gives your client a task every day; the programme is the plan behind it. See Programmes and paths for your clients.
