You can track water with a tap from your home screen, without having to open the nutrition screen.
Adding. The Water habit has two buttons: one for a smaller amount and one for a larger amount. Each tap adds to your day. The bar below shows how far along you are towards your goal.
Why it’s separate from your food diary. Water has no kilocalories, so it doesn’t belong among your meals. But it is something people want to track, and then it belongs where you’re already looking.
As a habit. If you turn water on as a habit, reaching your water goal counts towards your streak. On a day without training, that keeps your rhythm going.
How much is enough. That differs per person, per weight and per amount of exertion. Two litres is a commonly used rule of thumb, not a medical prescription. Anyone who trains hard or works in the heat needs more.
Setting a reminder. For a habit you can choose a time to get a nudge. See Setting up notifications.
