What your members buy from you is set up under Money → What you sell → Subscriptions, with New membership. Your punch cards are there too.
(opens at full size in a new tab)The basics. A name, a short description and optionally a group, such as Students or Off-peak. Groups keep the list tidy.
Price and VAT. The price includes VAT. Choose the rate: 9%, 21%, or no VAT if you fall under the KOR (the Dutch small business VAT scheme). One-off costs, such as a joining fee, are added separately.
How it runs.
- Per period: per week, month or year, and whether it renews automatically. Off means a fixed-term contract that ends after its duration. A renewal price can differ from the first period.
- One-off: a punch card. It gives credit at the start and doesn’t continue.
- When the first period starts: from the start date, or on the first of the month with a pro rata first instalment.
- Trial: 0 to 90 days free.
What’s included.
- Unlimited classes: then no credit is needed for the class timetable.
- Credit: for example ten classes per period, or once at the start, with how long it’s valid. See Types of credit.
- Access times: entry only at certain hours, as with an off-peak subscription.
- Book from: how many days ahead a member with this subscription can book.
- AI from the business’s pool: holders use AI at your business’s expense, even when the pool has reached its limit.
Terms. Text a member reads before signing up, such as the notice period or house rules. Their agreement goes on the contract.
Publishing. If visible to members straight away is off, it’s a draft. Once it’s published, it can’t go back to draft, because someone may already have signed up. You take it out of the shop by archiving it.
Changing it. Name, description and the credit for future periods apply straight away. Price, VAT and terms of running contracts don’t: they keep what applied when they were taken out.
