Looking back at route and pace

What’s in the summary of a session and how to compare earlier runs.

After every outdoor session you get a summary, and it’s kept.

What you see. The route you ran or cycled on the map, the total distance, your time and your average pace. For running, pace is shown in minutes per kilometre, for cycling in kilometres per hour -- that’s how people talk about it in each sport.

Earlier runs. The cardio screen has Your previous runs. All your sessions are listed there, with date, distance and pace. That way you see whether that five-kilometre loop is going faster than three months ago.

Why pace is fairer than speed alone. A route with a headwind or hills takes more out of you than the same number of kilometres on flat ground. So two sessions at the same pace weren’t necessarily equally hard -- the map tells you why.

In your calendar. Every session also appears in your calendar, next to your gym workouts. What’s done is crossed out.
