Tracking measurements

Recording weight, circumferences and other values, choosing what you track, and why your weight fluctuates.

Under Progress you record measurements. You choose which ones under Profile → Which measurements you track.

What you can track. Your weight, circumferences such as waist, hips, chest, arm and leg, and values about your day and how you feel, such as sleep or energy as a score from 1 to 10. Turn on what you want; the app stops asking for anything that’s off. Your earlier values are kept and come back if you turn it on again.

From a scale. You scan a printout from an InBody or Tanita with the Scanner; your weight and body fat percentage are then added to your measurements.

Why your weight fluctuates. Fluid, salt, the contents of your gut and your cycle can make your weight differ by a kilo or more from day to day. Weigh yourself at a fixed moment, in the morning before breakfast, and look at the trend over weeks.

Circumferences are more stable. A waist that shrinks while the scale stands still is exactly what happens when you lose fat and build muscle.

A target weight. Set it under Profile → Personalise.

Who sees it. Only you and your coach. Measurements never appear on a leaderboard.
