Making the app your own

Light or dark, your start screen, when your week starts, your daily goal for steps and calories, and your exercise demonstrator.

Under Profile → Personalise there are two kinds of settings.

For this device.

  • Appearance: light, dark, or follows your phone. Then the app switches over by itself in the evening.
  • Start on: the screen that opens when you start the app. If you go straight to training every day, that saves you a tap.
  • The week starts on: Monday or Sunday, for the month view in your calendar.
  • Your exercise demonstrator: the character that demonstrates exercises in 3D. By default it follows your profile.
  • Points on AI buttons: shows what an AI feature costs and what you have available. Turning it off only hides the figures.

These don’t travel to another device. Someone who starts at Training on their phone and at Home on their tablet doesn’t have conflicting opinions, just two devices.

Your goals. These belong to your account and do travel with you.

  • Step goal per day: what the meter on your home screen counts towards. Ten thousand isn’t a medical standard; the app suggests something based on what you actually walked over the last few weeks.
  • Calorie goal per day: how much you want to burn actively.
  • Target weight, if you want to track it.

Voice and notifications are separate: see Voice, counting reps and countdowns and Setting up notifications.
