Measuring your posture

Having your body proportions measured once, so the sports assistant calculates with your body.

Under Profile → Measure your posture you record your body’s proportions. The sports assistant can then better see whether you’re standing side-on or facing it, and how deep you go.

How it works. Stand your phone upright about two metres away. First stand straight in front of it, arms by your sides, and keep still until the bar is full. Then turn a quarter turn, so the camera sees you from the side, and keep still again for a moment. The app tells you if it can’t see you properly, for example if you’re too far away.

What’s saved. Four ratios between your own body parts, such as your shoulders compared with your torso. No image: nothing is recorded and no photo leaves your phone. Only you see them, not even your coach.

In centimetres. If you’ve entered your height in your profile, the app converts the ratios into centimetres. A camera can’t measure your height itself.

Again or delete. You can always measure again, or delete the measurement.
