The scanner in the coach app

Photographing a member list, a machine, a paper form or the class timetable and putting it in the dashboard.

In the coach app, the Scanner is under the button in the middle. Whatever is on paper or on the wall and belongs in the dashboard, you photograph and have it taken over.

Four kinds.

  • Member list: a registration form or a list of names and email addresses. You get one invitation per person, the same one the separate button sends.
  • Machine: a strength machine at your gym, fully in the picture. You get the machine under Machines, with its name, exercises and a sticker code.
  • Form: a paper questionnaire or intake. You get the same form in digital form under Check-ins & forms, ready to send.
  • Timetable: the weekly timetable on the board or on paper. The classes go into the timetable, for as many weeks ahead as you choose, with the number of places per class.

You always check. A scan gives you a filled-in form, not a final result. You tick what you want to take over, adjust anything that’s wrong, and only then does it go into the dashboard.

What couldn’t be read isn’t guessed. An invitation to the wrong address is worse than typing something out. The scan leaves those lines as they are.

Finding it again. Under View all scans you’ll find everything you’ve added with the camera, with where it is in the dashboard.
