Training spots: working out nearby

Finding, recording and confirming places with equipment or space to work out, and the points that earns you.

A training spot is a place where you can train outside your gym: a calisthenics park, a hotel gym, a flight of stairs to run up. Athletes record them and confirm them for each other.

Finding. Under Community you’ll find the spots near you, closest first, and on the map. Tap a spot for photos, the equipment there and directions.

Recording a spot. Are you there? Choose Add spot, let the pin be placed at your position, and choose what kind of spot it is and what’s there. That earns 50 points. If you’re not there, you can suggest it on the map for 10 points; it stays a suggestion until someone confirms it on site.

Confirming. If you’re at a spot someone else recorded, confirm that it’s correct. The discoverer then gets 25 bonus points. You don’t confirm your own spot; that’s what the next visitor is for.

Photos. You add them when you’re at the spot, within 200 metres: an overview, the equipment, the sign.

Home and office. You can record these too, for your own plan. They’re always just for you, don’t appear anywhere on the map and don’t earn points. A home address is never made public.

Something not right? Report it on the spot itself; a moderator will look at it.

Your own spots. Under Profile → My training spots. As long as nobody has confirmed a spot of yours, you can still edit or remove it.
