The sports assistant watches your exercise through your phone’s camera. It counts your reps, counts along out loud, and after your set says something about how it went.
Which exercises. Squat, push-up, lunge, glute bridge and crunch. For each exercise it looks at something different, such as how deep you go, whether your trunk stays straight and whether your heels stay on the floor.
How to set it up. Stand your phone upright against something, so it sees you from the side, with your whole body in the picture. You’ll find it in the Scanner under the middle button, in Everything, and with an exercise in your workout.
Out loud. It counts along and counts down before a set, in the way you choose under Profile → Voice. You turn on Listen along yourself on the assistant screen; it then listens to what you say during your set, without you touching your phone. That only happens on your phone: nothing is stored or sent. This needs the language pack for your app language on your device.
Better measurements. Measure your posture once under Profile → Measure your posture. The assistant then works with your proportions instead of an average. See Measuring your posture.
Privacy. Nothing is recorded and no images leave your device. The image stays on your phone.
An indication, not a measurement. What you see is meant for comparing your own sets with each other. Check the number of reps before you save the set.
Can’t see it? Then it isn’t in your version of the app yet. Update the app through the App Store or Google Play.
