Tracking your cycle

Recording your period, what the app estimates from it, notifications, and who sees it: only you, unless you share it with your coach.

Under Profile → Cycle you track your cycle.

Recording. Tap Started today and later Stopped today. Forgot? With Started earlier you enter a date in the past. You can correct or delete an entry that isn’t right.

Importing. If you already tracked it in Apple Health or Health Connect, you import that data in one go.

What the app estimates. When your next cycle starts and when you’re likely to ovulate. While you haven’t logged much yet, it calculates with averages you enter yourself; from two cycles on, with your own average. It’s an estimate, not a result.

Notifications. A day before your expected ovulation and two days before your next cycle, if you turn that on under Profile → Notifications. These are scheduled on your phone; nothing goes to our server.

Only you, unless you share. By default nobody sees this: not your coach, not your gym, and not our support staff either, even if you let them view your account.

Sharing with your coach. If you turn on Share my cycle with my coach, your coach sees with your programme when your period was and when it’s next expected. That way your coach can take it into account: eating a bit more in the week before, or a lighter training week. Your coach only sees those dates, not your notes or settings. You can always turn it off, and then your coach immediately no longer sees it. Support doesn’t see it then either, and it never goes into a report from your coach.
