Audio cues while running

Spoken updates on distance, time and pace, so you don’t have to look at your phone.

During an outdoor session, the app can tell you out loud how it’s going. That saves you taking your phone out of your pocket while you run.

Turning them on. On the cardio screen there’s Audio cues. That’s where you turn them on and set how often you want to hear something.

What you hear. The distance covered, your elapsed time and your pace. Short and to the point, in between your music.

Why it helps. Looking at your screen while running costs you your rhythm and, in traffic, your attention. A spoken update at set points gives you the same without having to look down.

With headphones. Works fine; the cue plays over your music, which briefly gets quieter.

Off by default. If you want to run in silence, you don’t need to do anything.
