Getting started with the app

Creating an account or accepting an invitation, the first two questions, and the Get started card.

The app keeps track of your training, nutrition, cardio and habits in one place. You can use it on your own, or together with your gym or coach.

The first screen. The app asks How would you like to start? Choose Start on my own for a new account, or I already have an account to sign in.

Creating an account yourself. Enter your email address and a password and tap Create account. You’ll get an email with a link to confirm your address; that link works for an hour. You can also continue with Apple or Google.

Through your gym or coach. Then you’ll get an invitation by email. Open the link in that email on your phone: it opens the app and lets you choose a password. If you already had an account, you’ll see the invitation in the app and accept it there yourself. See An invitation from your gym or coach.

Two questions.

  1. What’s your name? The name your coach and the community will see.
  2. What do you want to achieve? Choose Lose weight, Get stronger, Build fitness or Stay healthy. That decides what the app focuses on. With Lose weight you can enter a target weight; leaving it empty is fine.

Done saves your answers. Skip takes you straight on, but then nothing is saved, not even your name. You can change everything later under Profile.

The Get started card. After that, a card with five steps sits at the top of your home screen:

  1. Choose a path, or, if you have a coach: Your coach is preparing your plan.
  2. Your height, weight and level, so the app calculates with you rather than with an average.
  3. Log your first workout or meal, via Quick log, the button in the middle.
  4. A starting photo, just for you.
  5. A profile photo, next to your name in the community and with your coach.

Whatever is done gets crossed off. The card disappears once everything is done, after seven days, or when you tap Hide.

The bar at the bottom. Home with your day, Path with your programme, the round button in the middle for Quick log, Community and Profile.

No signal. Whatever you enter, the app saves on your phone first. It uploads by itself as soon as you’re connected again. See The app works without signal.
