You open your conversations with the chat icon at the top right of your home screen. If you have one conversation, it opens straight away; otherwise you go to Messages, with your conversations with your coach, your gym and any groups. You can also find Messages under Quick log, at Message your coach or under All.
Starting one yourself. If you have a coach but no conversation yet, there’s a Message to button with your coach’s name at the top of Messages. It opens a new conversation. If you don’t have a coach yet, look up your gym or coach with Find a gym or coach and send a message from there.
What you can send. Text, photos, documents and voice memos. You play a voice memo with a playback bar; you can rewind.
Reacting. With an emoji on a message, or with a reply to a specific message, so it’s clear what it’s about.
Group chats. If your coach puts you in a group, such as a running group, you see the other participants and what they write. You answer a poll in the group with a tap. You can always leave a group.
No signal. A message you send without a connection goes as soon as you have signal again. The app doesn’t store your conversations themselves on your phone; after a restart without signal, you only see them again once you’re connected.
Notifications. You get an alert for a new message, if that’s switched on under Profile → Notifications. During your quiet hours, messages arrive without sound.
Finding files again. Whatever you exchange, your coach keeps with your record.
For questions about the app itself, such as a fault, there’s the chat with support. See Getting help.
