Client management over a cup of coffee
Why we built Assistant, a voice assistant that operates the dashboard, and why it always leaves the final word to you.

A coach spends most of their day away from a desk. Between two clients, on the gym floor, in the car or with a coffee: those are the moments when you want to quickly see how someone is doing, or sort something out that would otherwise wait until this evening.
That’s why Assistant. You hold down a button and say what you want: "Open Annemieke’s record", "Create a plan with AI for Suzanne, three days", "Send Bram: nice work". Assistant opens the screen, fills in the window and prepares the message. In the dashboard and in the coach app.
What we learned from others. In healthcare, doctors already work with assistants that open a record and prepare orders, which the doctor then signs. Online shops have an assistant that creates discounts and products "for you to review and save". We adopted that idea: the assistant does the work, you keep the final word. Saving, sending, scheduling: only when you say or tap it.
What it deliberately doesn’t do. Refund money, delete something irreversibly, change colleagues’ permissions. Those deserve a deliberate moment, without a misheard word setting something in motion.
Names. The hardest thing about a voice assistant in a gym is the names. That’s why the speech recognition is given your clients’ names, then searches by sound, and asks if it’s unsure.
Privacy. The microphone is only on while you hold the button, your recording is discarded once it’s been understood, and it doesn’t say health data out loud. It only sees what you’re allowed to see too.
Assistant is an add-on from Growth, for €10 per coach per month. Read more on the Assistant page and in the help centre.
