Under Referrals you decide whether points are worth money with you and how your members bring in new members. Only the owner changes the points rules.
Points are worth money. If you turn this on, your members save up a balance they can redeem. You choose what one point is worth, at most one euro. If it’s off, points only count towards their level and the rankings.
How members earn points.
- Training and checking in: points from workouts, classes, running and habits go into their wallet. Turn this off if you only want to reward recruitment.
- A successful referral: you choose how many points the referrer gets and how many the newcomer gets.
Where they redeem points.
- In the club shop: a discount on an order at checkout.
- On the monthly fee: this affects your billing, because what you collect goes down.
- Topping up AI: if your business’s AI credit runs out halfway through the month, members pay the rest with their own points.
A limit. The maximum percentage of an amount that can be paid with points applies to the shop and the monthly fee. Without a limit, an order can be paid entirely with points, and then your shop is no longer a shop.
How a referral works. A member opens Invite in the app and shares their code. The newcomer creates an account and enters the code within thirty days. On their first payment, they both get their points.
What stops abuse. Points only after the first payment, one referral per account, never paid out twice, and nobody can invite themselves. Every point is in the ledger, with a reason and a time.
Heard about it at the front desk? With New referral you record yourself who brought whom, or look up a member’s code to share. If the newcomer has already paid, you can reward them straight away.
Prefer to reward people yourself? Leave points off. You keep track of the referrals and give a free month or a shirt yourself.
The overview. What’s still outstanding in discounts (a liability, not revenue), how many new members came through referrals, what has been redeemed, and a chart per week. With Export report you get everything as a CSV.
